The composite product produced with carbon as fiber is becoming increasingly common in various application sectors. As in the case of composite materials in general, the advantages mainly lie in the greater resistance combined with a high lightness – especially if compared to the use of traditional materials (steel, aluminum).
In the case of carbon then, one of the strengths is also the undoubted aesthetic value that the artefact comes to assume.
The Pai Boat Composites laboratory, in the face of the dynamism of this sector in recent years and the ever increasing number of specific requests, has developed a line of dedicated products. The goal was to develop ad hoc polishing processes, which guaranteed excellent results in a short time, working both on the lacquered carbon finish and directly on the epoxy layer that usually protects the fibers.
